Le man avec les lunettes Italian project, born in the winter of 2004, actually composed by six-piece who plays sweet POP with awesome melodies! They have also toured Italy and Europe extensively(France, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway). In 2008, after some EPs, split singles, compilations in different formats, Le Man Avec Les Lunettes will release their first complete album. They have played, recorded and mixed (almost) by theirself and the album will be release October the1st in Italy by My Honey rec. and Zahr rec. and in Germany by Cake and Coffee rec.

Soo I heard about these guys, Le Man Avec Les Lunettes, through Chris (of course) and they're really pretty cool. They have an odd background though. The guys in the band are Italian with a French band name singing in English. It all sounds so odd until you hear it. The songs are beautiful, think the Beach Boys meet Sigur Ros. I usually don't go in for Sigur Ros, but these songs are a little more upbeat and shorter, too. Their website doesn't give much information about them, so I assume they want to stay a little myserious or something. They have an EP that you can buy, but for some reason it says it's the Swedish edition? Too many nationalities going on here! Hace poco recibí la recomendación (gracias Paolo!) de esta banda italiana, de nombre francés y con vocales en inglés, y la verdad que la sorpresa ha sido muy grata. Lo más sorprendente de esta banda es, sin dudas, su aparición en el cartel del festival Emmaboda 2005. Su primer EP, "Saturate it, Then Reverse!" es justo el reflejo de los gustos de este dúo formado por Fabio B. y Ale P., donde la influencia del psychPOP sesentero y el indiepop actual de bandas tipo Belle & Sebastian, se combinan para bonitas canciones.
